We live in an I want it now society and the fact of the matter is, most of the time, we get it.
Our smartphones have now become essential to our way of life. Everything we need is at our fingertips 24/7.
Its difficult to turn that mentality off. So when it comes to fitness, for most of us, this I want it now attitude remains the same.

Instead of focusing on things that will take longer to reach like your six pack, or toned legs and bigger biceps, see how:
your mood changes
your energy level increases
your stress level decreases
From there, focus on how you have developed an enjoyment for fitness. This is the foundation from which you can build. If you dont enjoy the process and view fitness as something you have to do or a means to an end, it wont be long before those excuses start rearing their ugly heads and your goals go out the window.
If you are new to exercise or have been on an extended break, the physiological adaptations to exercise will yield significant and frequent results. However, once the body has had a chance to adapt to this new stimulus, usually within four weeks, the frequency of results will decline, but their significance will be greater.
